My husband and I are well traveled. This experience was one of the best we've had and certainly one we'll always remember. Santiago and Carla were charming hosts. We adored learning about Cava, tasting the product, and trying our hands at bottling it ourselves. Trust us- you don't want to miss out on this experience.

Sensational tour, esp Carla!

Our tour guide host was Carla and she is absolutely incredible. First impressions before even arriving at the winery was how warm and friendly Carla was and extremely welcoming. Upon arriving it was clear that Carla is extremely passionate about wine/cava, a clear expert in her field and a real ambassador of the brand. It was lovely to experience her passion firsthand and also her clear pride working for the brand. I felt like we learnt a lot and it was truly fascinating information. I'm by no means a wine connoisseur but the passion was infectious and I'm not considering learning more about wines in general! During the tasting itself, we had the luxury of it just being us (2 of us) plus Carla therefore the setting was intimate and so much fun. I cannot recommend this tour enough!! Carla- what a absolute credit you are to the industry/field and of course you company. You ignited in me an interest I've never had before so truly a personally profound experience and encounter with you!! Thank you for everything, that was our best experience of our holiday!!

Quite simply amazing! From start to end, Carla (our sommelier) provided the most amazing experience - this has been the highlight of our trip! Not only was Carla knowledgeable about the Cava production process, she was also able to take us on the journey of the history behind Cava and it’s production in the region. It was a truly insightful experience. The selection of Cava we were able to taste, was fantastic and was only topped by the engaging and natural conversation. I would definitely recommend this experience (and will be returning)- great price for an unforgettable experience! Thank you!

Carla was a great host. Our time at Cellar Can Batlle and learning about cava was better than we expected--and the food was great too. The location is very accessible by train from Barcelona and the staff very responsive. We want to go back!
