Overview

This cooking class and market tour are our most popular offering. Together, the tour and the class take approximately four hours. The tour starts with accompanying our chefs to the world famous La Boqueria market, located nearby. During this 'behind the scenes' guided tour, you will meet many vendors, some of whom have been there for generations. You will learn about locally grown products and participate in the selection of ingredients that will be used later in the cooking class. Upon returning to our kitchen, you will begin preparing the four course menu. All our classes are designed for every skill level and are taught by professionally trained bilingual chefs. The classes provide a fun, social, hands-on experience, where you will be participating in the preparation of the various dishes under the thoughtful guidance of our chef instructors. Unlimited wines are included. All our menus can be adapted to accommodate any food restriction you may have, vegan included.

Excellent class and tour

My husband and I really enjoyed our market tour and cooking class with Renata - she was very friendly and knowledgeable about the different options in the market and gave clear, concise instructions during the dinner prep. Dinner itself was wonderful! They were very accommodating of us (my husband doesn't watch seafood so we had our own chicken paella) and we really enjoyed learning the recipes. I would highly recommend this class to anyone!

Great Spanish cooking experience with kids

Along with our young kids (8 and 10yo), we all had a lot of fun. The cooking class began with Juan taking us thru the market and giving us wonderful insights on various shops and produce. The class was enjoyable and our kids really liked it too as they could get involved. Juan, our instructor, was very warm and personable which really added to the experience. Fantastic experience and we all got to share the meal together.

This class rocked. I'm a chef by profession, and lured into this was my girlfriends doing. Honestly, probably one of the best times I've had in a class setting and in Barcelona. Chef Juan's class was perfect, he had the skills of a chef and teacher. He was experienced yet humble and was hilarious. He kept calling us chefs, which if anyone knows.. a sign of respect. We made the tortilla espanola, paella, gazapcho, and catalan cream. All of the dishes were delicious. And the wine was great too. I highly recommend this to anyone traveling to Barcelona as it was the highlight of our trip.
