What To Expect

Parc Guell
Park Guell is a work of Antoni Gaudí located in the upper part of Barcelona, which has wonderful views of the city. You can enjoy a fantastic green walk surrounded by a modernist works.
Park Güell was born in 1900 from a dream shared by a businessman Eusebi Güell and an architect Antoni Gaudí. The initial intention was to build a residential neighborhood in Barcelona inspired by the British model of the “garden city”. It was precisely for this reason that the industrialist named it Park Güell, in English.
At the entrance Gaudí designed two magnificent pavilions of the porter's lodge and a large and beautifully ornamented staircase, which led the visitor to a portico, the Hypostyle Hall, designed to host a market inside.
The project has never been realised, but the park stays and forms a dignified part of the city, together with the wonderful works by the great master.

The place is just beautiful. A bit far from the city center, but you have wonderful views and excellent presentation of Antonio Gaudi work.
Beautiful park

Beautiful park. Nice stroll, although a bit far from the city center. If you are coming by metro, search for the escalators. Otherwise you would have to climb. The park is beautiful. There are different areas built by Antonio Gaudi and it is really the best of the master! The reservation process was fine as well. Nothing to complaint about!
Excellent option
