Start your culinary exploration of medieval Girona on this mouth-watering ´all-in´ guided walking tour and see the cultural highlights of our magnificent city, whilst tasting your way around it.

In a fun and educational way, our passionate foodie guide will lead you through the old city, showing you the hidden gems and tell you the stories and legends behind Catalan culture, food, and culinary traditions.

You will visit the local, indoor food market , bustling bakeries, traditional family-run local eateries and will meet artisan food producers (some of them ¨in business¨ for over 100 years!).

And of course, you can´t leave our country without tasting the Spanish delicacy Jamon Iberico, paired with a chilled glass of cava.

We finalize our tour with a gourmet ice cream at Rocambolesc, Girona´s most famous ice cream shop by Jordi Roca.

My wife and I went on a food tour of Girona with Girona food tours. Our tour guide was Gina. It was a fantastic experience. Gina was very knowledgeable and very welcoming and nice. She speaks excellent English which was a plus for us. She was also very helpful about restaurant and food recommendations. She was a joy to be around!! Highly recommend Girona Food Tours and if possible request Gina as your guide. You will love the experience!!

A wonderful experience! Informative, delicious, and fun! It was a pleasure spending time with Marc from Girona Food tours, a really good guy! He showed us around Girona', introduced us to local life and local food, and the Catalan gastronomy!

Great value, fabulous food and thoughtful insight.

A nice way to see the city with some food and drinks

My friend and I were shown around Girona by our guide. It was a great way to see the city and learn about its history while getting some energy along the way.
We started with a cortado and traditional pastry, some fizz and ham and ended with some nice tapas and a glass of wine, with some snacks in between. I had the best cheesecake I’ve ever tasted in the last restaurant. It’s worth it for something a bit different. We did a morning tour so the streets were not very busy. Thank you.

Worth the money, great guide, people and food

Wonderful time with lovely people, a great guide Alex and more food than expected. At the end I new I would not be eating dinner. Varied foods such as hams, breads, olive oils, fish, tapas which included beef, chicken, tuna and mushroom not forgetting potato bravas. We really enjoyed it.

A great intro to Girona and Catalunya, with yummy food

We had a great evening walking around Girona with our lovely guide Alexia and other really nice guests. The food was a knockout - everyone will remember the ice cream sandwiches, and we’re still dreaming about the fideua. Highly recommended!
