The climate of paranoia and persecution the Spanish Inquisition created was so overwhelming that its reputation outgrew its reality and it became what we know of it today: much-referenced but little understood.

We had a great tour with our tour guide Joaquim. He was super knowledgeable providing great stories to help us understand the troubled times of the inquistion. He did a great job keeping it "upbeat and light" not going into too many gory details but still leaving us with an impression of what it was really like during this time.
Would highly recommend!

Another incredible walking tour by Lexi! It was so informative yet digestible and engaging. This was a somewhat darker tour with heavier content but Lexi keeps it lighthearted yet respectable and it’s so so worth it.
