Magnificent Montserrat Monastery

The early morning drive was beautiful and scenic up to Montserrat...avoided the traffic, avoided the crowds. The line of cars and buses, when we were on our way back, was unbelievable. The hills are spectacular and the location magnificent.....you are above the clouds that settle in the valley...truly spectacular. There is a huge cafeteria where you can buy refreshments, and stalls selling fresh home produce. A place worth visiting. As always, more time up there would have been better.
