It was quite a distance from Madrid but it was worth it.
Nacho was very good guide and translator - pleasant guy.
The variation of the wineries and the authentic Spanish food was a bonus!
Ribera del duero Por el mundo

All three wineries were awesome in their own way: one small and recently started in 2018, a second modern with seemingly deep pockets, and a third Ismael Arroyo generations old and still using the original caves for aging wines.
I don’t drink alcohol but everyone said all the wine was awesome.
Excellent experience

Pueblo (tour guide)was very knowledgeable and friendly. I enjoyed the tour and learning about the different wineries. We tasted 8 wines total 7 reds and 1 white. I’m not a fan of reds but this tour changed my mind. Highly recommend well worth it.
Great introduction to Ribera del Duero. Don't miss it.

First and last wineries visited were especially great. The host at the first was charming; the Willy Wonka of wine. Walked through every detail of their production process in a way that was super enjoyable to listen to and very informative. The barrel tasting, with a challenge to identify which kind of oak was used for each, was a fun way to involve the guests. Wine was great, and reasonably priced. Second winery was good also, great wine, good space, informative tour guide. Final visit was special, in terms of the facilities. The wine cave dug into the mountain hundreds of years ago was an unforgettable experience. Vintner is central to the wine appellation, and it shows. Wine tasting space was beautiful. Great wine at very reasonable prices. We took a couple bottles home.

Able to visit 3 different wineries. Did not feel rushed. Comfortable vehicle transport. Our guide had to interpret at two of the wineries as the winery guides did not speak English well, didn’t seem to be much of an issue.
